This is about the service dog article on your front page. Legally, you may actually ask what does this service dog provide for you? All that information is available … online. In Longmont, we have a lot of fake service dogs. A real service dog walks on its own four feet. It is on a proper leash and wearing a proper caller. It is not in a grocery cart, nor is it carried, nor is it in a purse. It ignores other animals and does not bark or growl at them. I wish that people would actually stop using their pets as fake service dogs, because dogs (that) are actually the real thing are in jeopardy.
Tuesday’s Times-Call Line contains an item about “God’s president.” My assessment is, don’t blame God because some people voted for (Trump). As a Christian my prayer is, please forgive us.
Please take out Amy Dickinson’s letters. They are long, boring, and her answers are not to the point. Please bring back Dear Abby. I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels this way.
My family is one of many in Longmont that does not celebrate homosexuality. We praise President Trump for doing away with the national LGBT Pride Month and wish Longmont would have dismissed it as well.
I’m not convinced that there has been any value to primary elections since the 1960s, and allowing the unaffiliated voter to participate doesn’t guarantee squat. Look at the Colorado gubernatorial race. We’re going to end up with one guy who’s a shill for Trump, and the other one is a person who put 300,000 signatures of people who wanted to put the fracking issue on the ballot into the dumpster. Thanks a lot to you both.
It seems amazing to me how the two-party system has further entrenched by the use of the … primary balloting for the two-party system alone. … I will put money on it that if I send in a ballot for either party that … I will get a solicitation from a party in the next year. … What about a third party or a fourth party. The use of taxpayer money for this is inappropriate.
The move-over law for emergency vehicles doesn’t mean move over to the left and then slow down 15 to 20 mph under the speed limit. You only slow down that amount if you are unable to move over. Learned the law or you will cause accidents.
Does anyone realize how small and insignificant 20 acres is? The owners must be laughing all the way to the bank. Someone should do jail time for this theft from the taxpayers.
I would like to educate the people who think an AR-15 stands for “assault rifle.” It stands for the brand of the gun. It’s called ArmaLite. The AR does not stand for “assault rifle.” So it’s an ArmaLite15, not an assault rifle.
